Biography
Cesar Mazariegos is a television writer and producer. He joined the writing staff of The Simpsons in 2019 as a staff writer and has since held roles including story editor, executive story editor, producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer.
He has written episodes of The Simpsons including 'I, Carumbus' (2020), the two-part 'A Serious Flanders' (2021) and 'Not It' (2022). Other credits include the 2018 series Deception and the 2022 short When Billie Met Lisa. He received Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Animated Program in 2024, 2025 and 2026, and for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program in 2022.
