Biography
Cezary Łukaszewicz is a Polish actor. Born on 25 August 1981 in Wrocław, he made his stage debut at the age of 14 in a production of Przygody Tomka Sawyera at Teatr na Woli in Warsaw. He graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Warsaw in 2004.
Łukaszewicz spent seven years as a member of Teatr Nowy im. Tadeusza Łomnickiego in Poznań before joining the ensemble of Teatr Polski in Wrocław in 2013. He has worked with directors including Waldemar Śmigasiewicz, Krzysztof Garbaczewski and Michał Zadara.
His screen credits include the voice of Theo van Gogh in the animated film Loving Vincent (2017), the role of Blacksmith Michał in The Peasants (2023), and appearances in Wałęsa: Man of Hope (2013), Furioza (2021) and the series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018). He received a nomination for the Polish Film Award Orzeł for Discovery of the Year for his work in The Peasants.
