Biography
Chad Fischer is an American composer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Born on 27 July 1976 in Santa Monica, California, he began his career playing drums for the alternative rock band School of Fish before fronting Lazlo Bane, whose song "Superman" became the theme for the television series Scrubs.
Fischer scored the 2004 film Garden State, directed by and starring Zach Braff. His other film credits include Little Manhattan (2005), The Rocker (2008), The Babysitters (2008), 10 Years (2012) and Chasing Mavericks (2012). He has also composed for television series including Private Practice and Scandal.
