Biography
Chad Oakes is a Canadian producer. He was born on 27 May 1968 in Calgary, Alberta.
In 1995 he co-founded Nomadic Pictures with Mike Frislev. The company has produced numerous feature films and television series.
Oakes produced the FX anthology series Fargo (2014–2017) and the AMC miniseries Broken Trail (2006). He has received two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Miniseries or Limited Series, for Broken Trail in 2007 and for Fargo in 2014. Other credits include the series Hell on Wheels (2011–2016) and executive producer roles on Land (2021) and The Thicket (2024).
