Biography

Chan Ki-Hop, also credited as Ki-hop Chan, Chan Kei-Hop, Chen Qi-He and Sam Chan, is a Hong Kong film editor. He began working in the industry in the 1980s as an assistant editor before taking on full editing duties from the mid-1980s onwards.

He has edited more than 100 films. His credits include In the Mood for Love (2000), Fist of Legend (1994), Comrades, Almost a Love Story (1996), Thunderbolt (1995), Fight Back to School (1991), The Medallion (2003), Three... Extremes (2004), Dumplings (2004), The King of Fighters (2009) and The Four (2012). He won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Film Editing for The Twins Effect (2003) and has received multiple nominations for the award.
