Biography
Channing Powell is an American television writer and producer. She graduated from Williams College with a bachelor's degree in film production and began her career as an assistant on the series White Collar (2009), later receiving writing and story editor credits on the show.
She joined The Walking Dead (2010) in 2013 as a writer and co-producer for season 4, contributing story, teleplay and writing credits across multiple seasons while advancing to supervising producer and co-executive producer roles. She also wrote episodes for Fear the Walking Dead (2015).
Powell was showrunner and writer on the anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead (2022) and wrote episodes for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live (2024). She created and wrote for the series The Feed (2019).
