Biography
Charles V. Bagli is a journalist at The New York Times, where he has covered real estate and politics for more than twenty years. He has also worked at the New York Observer, the Tampa Tribune and other publications.
Bagli appears as himself in several television programmes and documentaries about the Robert Durst case. These include The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (2015–2024), in which he is credited as Self – The New York Times, as well as Robert Durst: An ID Murder Mystery (2019) and Very Scary People (2020). He is the author of the book Other People’s Money: Inside the Housing Crisis and the Demise of the Greatest Real Estate Deal Ever Made.
