Biography
Charles Cooper (11 August 1926 – 29 November 2013) was an American actor. Born in San Francisco, California, he began his career on stage and appeared on Broadway in All You Need Is One Good Break (1950) and The Winner (1954). His screen work spanned film and television from the 1950s to the early 2000s.
He is known for his role as Klingon General Korrd in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) and as Klingon Chancellor K'mpec in two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1990). Other credits include Detective Matthews in Alfred Hitchcock's The Wrong Man (1956), Ed Cobb in Blind Fury (1989), and multiple guest appearances on Perry Mason (1958–1962). He was also credited as Charles D. Cooper and Chas Cooper.
