Biography
Charles Evans Jr. is an American film producer and documentary director. He is the son of producer Charles Evans and the nephew of former Paramount production chief Robert Evans.
Evans produced The Brave (1997), Johnny Depp’s directorial debut, and was one of four producers credited on The Aviator (2004). His involvement with the latter led to a 2001 lawsuit that was settled out of court, securing his on-screen credit; the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences later ruled he was ineligible to receive an Oscar should the film win Best Picture.
He also produced and directed the documentary Addiction Incorporated (2011).
