Biography
Charles McDevitt was an American actor. He appeared as himself in the 1969 documentary film Salesman, directed by Albert and David Maysles with Charlotte Zwerin. In the film he is one of four door-to-door salesmen for the Mid-American Bible Company, nicknamed 'The Gipper'.
McDevitt was born on 24 June 1932 in Bayonne, New Jersey. He died on 18 December 2018 in New Jersey.
