Biography
Charles Watts (1912–1966) was an American actor known for supporting roles in mid-20th-century films and television. Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, he taught drama and business law at Chattanooga High School from 1937 to 1938 before working in local theatres, stock companies and industrial shows. He began screen work in the early 1950s, often in uncredited or minor parts.
Watts appeared in Giant (1956) as Judge Oliver Whiteside, An Affair to Remember (1957) as Ned Hathaway, Lover Come Back (1961) as Charlie, and episodes of series including Bonanza and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. He died in Nashville, Tennessee.
