Biography
Charlie Clouser is an American composer, keyboardist and record producer. He studied electronic music at Hampshire College, graduating in 1985, and worked as a programmer and remixer for artists including Prong, White Zombie and Marilyn Manson before joining Nine Inch Nails in 1994.
Clouser has composed the score for every film in the Saw franchise, including Saw X (2023). His work on the series features industrial electronics combined with orchestral elements, and the recurring theme 'Hello Zepp' has become a signature of the films. He has also scored films such as Dead Silence (2007) and Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), and composed the theme for the television series American Horror Story.
