Biography
Charlie Lieberman is an American cinematographer. He was born on 5 June 1945 in Chicago, Illinois. He began his career in still photography before moving into cinematography, initially working on documentaries, industrial and educational films in Chicago.
Lieberman shot the feature Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986). He later relocated to Los Angeles in 1989 and worked on features including South Central (1992) and Love Is a Gun (1994). His television credits include director of photography on My So-Called Life (1994–1995, credited as Charles Lieberman), Party of Five (1996–1997), Once and Again (1999–2002), Joan of Arcadia (2003–2004) and Heroes (2007–2010). He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
