Biography
Cheng Taishen is a Chinese actor. He was born on 12 June 1971 in Lüliang, Shanxi Province. He graduated from the Central Academy of Drama in 1997 and subsequently worked at the Xi'an Film Studio.
His film credits include The World (2004), Biutiful (2010) as Hai, Drug War (2012) as Captain Liu, Under the Hawthorn Tree (2010), Legend of the Demon Cat (2017), Cloudy Mountain (2021) and Liu Qing (2021). He received a best actor award at the Nantes Film Festival for Seafood (2001) and a Huading Award for Liu Qing.
