Biography
Cheyne Lempe is a cinematographer and climber. He provided additional cinematography for the documentary Free Solo (2018), in which he also appears as himself. He has directed and served as cinematographer on several short films about climbing, including As Long as Life Endures: A Climber Wedding (2016) and Not Just Another Day (2020), and contributed footage to Reel Rock (2016).
Lempe grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado, and began climbing as a teenager. He has been a member of the Yosemite Search and Rescue team.
