Biography
Chip Masamitsu is an American film and television editor. He began his career in the editorial department, working as an assistant editor on films including No Way Out (1987) and Torch Song Trilogy (1988).
Masamitsu received an editor credit on the epic western Dances with Wolves (1990). His subsequent editing work includes the television series Earth 2 (1994–1995), the television film The Love Bug (1997), and various reality and drama series. He has also served as a producer on several projects, including episodes of Earth 2 and the television film Sins of the Mind (1997).
