Biography
Choi Gyu-seok (also credited as Choi Kyu-seok or 최규석) is a South Korean writer and manhwa artist. He was born on 10 October 1977 in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province.
He is known for his long collaboration with director Yeon Sang-ho. Their joint works include the webtoon and Netflix series Hellbound (2021–2024) and the film Colony (2026), on which Choi is credited as co-writer. He also wrote the screenplay for the film Revelations (2025) and provided the original story for the series Awl (2015).
