Biography
Choi Won-young (born Choi Seong-wook) is a South Korean actor. He made his screen debut in the 2002 film Sex Is Zero and has worked in both film and television. He trained in stage design at Sangmyung University and holds a master's degree in advertising and public relations from Hongik University.
His notable roles include Yoon Jae-ho in The Heirs (2013), Jung Tae-suk in Confession of Murder (2012), An Ji-gong in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016), and Nora's father in Past Lives (2023). He has also appeared in series such as While You Were Sleeping (2017), Doctor Prisoner (2019) and Hierarchy (2024).
In 2014 he married actress Shim Yi-young, whom he met while filming A Hundred Year Legacy (2013).
