Biography
Chris Clements is an American animation director. He has directed episodes of the animated series The Simpsons since 2003, with his first episode being "Dude, Where's My Ranch?". He has directed a total of 38 episodes of the series.
Prior to directing, Clements worked as a character layout artist on the show from 1994, later taking on roles as storyboard artist and assistant director. He also served as additional sequence director on the feature film The Simpsons Movie (2007).
Clements has received six Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Animated Program, including for the episodes "The Haw-Hawed Couple" (2007) and "Gone Maggie Gone" (2009).
