Biography
Chris Colfer is an American actor, singer and author. He was born on 27 May 1990 in Clovis, California.
Colfer gained recognition for playing Kurt Hummel on the television series Glee (2009–2015). He also wrote one episode of the series. His performance earned him the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2011, three consecutive People's Choice Awards for Favourite Comedic TV Actor, and two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
Colfer wrote, starred in and produced the film Struck by Lightning (2012). He is the author of the New York Times bestselling The Land of Stories series of children's books, which began with The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell (2012).
