Biography
Chris Gerolmo is an American screenwriter, film director and singer-songwriter. He graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Writing & Film-making in the early 1970s. His father, Frank Gero, was a theatre actor, stage manager and producer.
Gerolmo wrote the screenplay for the 1988 film Mississippi Burning, which received seven Academy Award nominations. He also wrote Miles from Home (1988) and the television film Citizen X (1995), which he directed and for which he received an Emmy nomination, a Writers Guild of America Award and an Edgar Award. He co-created the FX series Over There (2005) with Steven Bochco and has contributed to series including The Bridge (2013). He received a Golden Globe nomination for his screenwriting.
