Biography
Chris Hayden is a director, producer and unit production manager who has worked extensively in television. He began as a second assistant director on series including The Pretender (1996–2000) and later contributed to films such as Hustle & Flow (2005).
Hayden joined Grey's Anatomy in 2005 as a second assistant director, advancing to first assistant director and working on 119 episodes until 2015. He directed four episodes of the series between 2014 and 2016. He also served as co-producer on Grey's Anatomy (2016–2017) and as unit production manager on shows including American Horror Story (2018), Ratched (2020) and 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020–2022).
