Biography
Chris Innis, also credited as Christina Jean Innis, is an American film editor. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in film studies and received an MFA in live-action filmmaking from the California Institute of the Arts.
Innis worked as an associate editor on G.I. Jane (1997) and as music editor on Sam Raimi projects including The Gift (2000) and Spider-Man (2002). She shared the editing credit on The Hurt Locker (2008) with Bob Murawski; the pair received the Academy Award, BAFTA and ACE Eddie for Best Film Editing. She is a member of the American Cinema Editors and has served on its board.
Innis has collaborated with Murawski on restorations and releases of cult films through Grindhouse Releasing. The couple married in 2008.
