Biography
Chris Kekaniokalani Bright is a screenwriter from Oʻahu, Hawaii. He attended Kamehameha Schools and studied film and music at Chapman University. He worked in production at Walt Disney Animation Studios from 2014 to 2017.
Bright wrote the short film Tsuru (2014), on which he also served as director and producer. His screenplay Conviction appeared on the 2018 Black List and was acquired by Warner Brothers. He co-wrote the screenplay for the live-action Lilo & Stitch (2025) with Mike Van Waes.
