Biography
Chris Lovett is a British editor and director. Born in 1945 in Surrey, England, he began his career in television editing, including work on the BBC series The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin (1976) and Poldark (1975–1976).
He later directed episodes of numerous series, among them Coronation Street (1980–1983), Tales of the Unexpected (1980), EastEnders (1985), The Bill (1989–2003) and Casualty (1994–2006). Lovett has also edited music specials and reality television programmes. He won a Primetime Emmy Award.
