Biography
Chris McCarron is an American actor and former jockey. Born on 27 March 1955 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, he is credited as an actor in the 2003 film Seabiscuit, in which he played Charley Kurtsinger and also served as race designer.
His other acting role was as Tommy Canfield in a 1982 episode of the television series Quincy, M.E.. McCarron has appeared as himself in sports documentaries including ESPN SportsCentury (2001–2003) and Dark Horses (2018). He won the Eclipse Award as the outstanding jockey of 1974.
