Biography
Chris Prynoski is an American animator, director and producer. Born on 1 November 1971 in Trenton, New Jersey, he grew up in Bordentown and graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1994.
He began his career in New York working on MTV series including Beavis and Butt-Head and Daria (1997), for which he directed episodes. He created the series Downtown (1999), which received a Primetime Emmy nomination. In 2000 he moved to Los Angeles and co-founded the animation studio Titmouse, Inc. with his wife Shannon Prynoski.
Through Titmouse, Prynoski has directed and produced numerous animated series and films, including Metalocalypse (2006), Motorcity (2012) and Nerdland (2016). He has served as executive producer on projects such as The Legend of Vox Machina (2022) and Scavengers Reign (2023), and received multiple Primetime Emmy nominations.
