Biography
Chris Rose is an American journalist, author, actor and television writer. He worked for many years as a columnist and feature writer for The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, where his post-Hurricane Katrina dispatches were collected in the 2007 New York Times bestseller 1 Dead in Attic. He shared a Pulitzer Prize for public service in 2006.
Rose has also acted in small roles, including the coroner in Déjà Vu (2006) and a reporter in the television film The Madam's Family (2004). He received a teleplay and story credit for the Treme episode 'Promised Land' (2012).
