Biography
Christian Baskous is an actor. He trained at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts from 1977 to 1979 and graduated from the Juilliard School Drama Division (Group 12) in 1983. He is a member of the Actors Studio.
He played Edward L. Pierce in the film Glory (1989). His other screen credits include Brighton Beach Memoirs (1986), Law & Order (1996) as Mr. Pieper, Swift Justice (1996), Double Whammy (2001) and Garmento (2002). He has also worked in sound editing and as a director, writer and producer on short films.
Baskous has an extensive stage career, with appearances at the New York Shakespeare Festival, the Actors Theatre of Louisville, La Jolla Playhouse and other theatres.
