Biography
Christian Benedetti is a French actor and stage director born in 1958 in Marseille. He trained at the Conservatoire de Marseille and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris, where he studied with Antoine Vitez. He has also studied in Moscow, Budapest and Prague.
On screen he is known for roles including Georges's Father in Caché (2005), Combeferre in Les Misérables (1982), Albert Fratti in The Specials (2019), Etienne Robert in Love at Second Sight (2019) and Bertrand in Promises (2022).
Since 1997 he has directed the Théâtre-Studio in Alfortville, where he has staged numerous productions and worked with actors including Marcel Maréchal and Aurélien Recoing.
