Biography
Christian Oliver (born Christian Klepser) was a German actor. He was born on 3 March 1972 in Celle, Lower Saxony, and grew up in Frankfurt am Main. He moved to the United States to work as a model and studied acting in New York and Los Angeles.
Oliver appeared in films including The Good German (2006) as Emil Brandt, Speed Racer (2008) as Snake Oiler and The Three Musketeers (2011). On television he played roles in Sliders, Sense8 and Hunters, and co-starred for two seasons in the German series Alarm für Cobra 11 – Die Autobahnpolizei (2003–2004). He died on 4 January 2024 in a plane crash off the coast of Bequia, St Vincent and the Grenadines.
