Biography
Christina Choe is an American filmmaker and director. She studied at Columbia Film School, where she made several short films including I Am John Wayne (2011), which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival.
Her feature debut Nancy (2018), which she wrote and directed, premiered in the US Dramatic Competition at the Sundance Film Festival and received the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. Choe has directed episodes of television series including The Handmaid's Tale (2021), The Twilight Zone (2019–2020), The Act (2019) and Harlan Coben's Shelter (2023). She also created the documentary series Welcome to the DPRK.
