Biography
Christine Schorn is a German actress. She was born on 1 February 1944 in Prague and trained at the Staatliche Schauspielschule in East Berlin from 1961 to 1964. She became a leading member of the Deutsches Theater ensemble in Berlin, remaining with the company until 2010, and later gave guest performances in Zurich, Potsdam and Berlin.
Schorn has appeared in more than 150 film and television productions. Her screen credits include Die Beunruhigung (1982), Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) as Ms. Schäfer, Frei nach Plan (2007), Halt auf freier Strecke (2011) and Someday We'll Tell Each Other Everything (2023). She has received several awards, among them two German Film Awards in Gold for supporting roles and a lifetime achievement award from the Schwerin Film Festival in 2016.
