Biography
Christophe Rossignon is a French film producer and occasional actor. Born on 26 November 1959 in Ohain, Nord, he began by producing short films in the early 1990s at Productions Lazennec, including early works by Mathieu Kassovitz and Trần Anh Hùng.
He produced their feature debuts at the company, among them Métisse (1993), La Haine (1995) and L'Odeur de la papaye verte (1993). In 1999 he co-founded Nord-Ouest Films with Philip Boëffard; the company has produced films including Irréversible (2002), Love Me If You Dare (2003), Joyeux Noël (2005), Welcome (2009) and The Measure of a Man (2015).
Rossignon received the César Award for Best Producer in 1996 for La Haine and Cyclo (1995). He has also acted in several of the films he has produced.
