Biography
Christopher Bailey (born 20 April 1948) is a British screenwriter and academic. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in English. His early television writing included episodes for the anthology series Second City Firsts (1977) and ITV Playhouse (1979).
Bailey wrote two serials for the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who: Kinda (1982) and its sequel Snakedance (1983), both during the Fifth Doctor era. An unproduced storyline, later titled The Children of Seth, was adapted for audio by Big Finish Productions and released in 2011. He subsequently returned to academia and lectures in English at the University of Brighton.
