Biography
Christopher Hoag is an American composer. He began composing professionally while still in high school and has scored projects in film, television and theatre.
Hoag composed the original score for the pilot episode of the Fox series House (2004). For this work he received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2005 for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Dramatic Underscore). He also composed the score for the documentary feature The Phenomenon (2020). In 2017 he won Best Original Score for the short film Résilience at the Creation International Film Festival.
Other credits include music for the short films Hunter Prey (2010) and Three Way (2004), as well as contributions to theatre productions and the annual Halloween attraction The House at Haunted Hill in California.
