Biography
Christopher Lawrence is a costume designer. He began in wardrobe departments on television series including Moonlighting and Pee-wee's Playhouse, after early work in retail and on American Bandstand. He advanced through roles as costume supervisor on films such as Space Jam (1996) and Enemy of the State (1998).
In 1999 Michael Mann promoted him to associate costume designer on The Insider. Lawrence has since designed features including S.W.A.T. (2003), Crank (2006), The Mechanic (2011) and The Space Between Us (2017), and television series such as Ray Donovan (2013–2015) and The Rookie (2018). He has received multiple Costume Designers Guild awards and nominations, primarily for commercials and episodic work.
