Biography
Christopher Rowlands (1944–2025) was a British television editor and production manager. He began working at the BBC in 1965, initially editing film inserts for programmes including early episodes of Doctor Who, before moving into drama editing.
Rowlands edited episodes of Doctor Who in 1976 and contributed to All Creatures Great and Small (1978–1989). His other credits include Dangerfield (1995–1999), Doctors (as supervising editor, 2003–2008), Play for Today, Nanny and Spyship. He worked at BBC Pebble Mill from 1978 until 2011 and continued as a freelance editor.
