Biography
Christopher Villiers is a British actor. He was born on 7 September 1960 in Kensington, London, and educated at Stowe School. His early television roles included Tom Bertram in the 1983 adaptation of Mansfield Park and appearances in Sweet Sixteen the same year.
Villiers has appeared in films including Top Secret! (1984), First Knight (1995), Sliding Doors (1998) as Steve, Bloody Sunday (2002) and Magic Mike's Last Dance (2023). On television he has played roles in Doctor Who (both the 1963 and 2005 series), Emmerdale, Midsomer Murders and Slow Horses (2022). He has also worked as a screenwriter, producer and director, co-writing and co-producing the 2002 film Two Men Went to War.
