Biography
Christy Marx is an American screenwriter, game designer and comic book writer. Born in 1952 in Danville, Illinois, she has worked in television, animation, comics and interactive media since the late 1970s.
She created the animated series Jem (1985–1988) and wrote episodes for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987), Babylon 5 (1994), Conan the Adventurer (1992–1993), Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future (1987), The Twilight Zone (1985), Spider-Man (1981) and Beast Wars: Transformers (1996). She also designed the adventure games Conquests of Camelot (1990) and Conquests of the Longbow (1991), and created the comic series Sisterhood of Steel.
In 2000 Marx received the Animation Writers Caucus Animation Award from the Writers Guild of America for her contributions to animation writing.
