Biography
Chua Kah Joo is a Singaporean actor. He played Chen in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). His other screen credits include Wong's Aide in High Road to China (1983), a dancer in Absolute Beginners (1986), the Chinese takeaway owner in an episode of Only Fools and Horses (1986), and roles in EastEnders and The Professionals.
He trained as a professional ballet dancer and worked with companies in Europe in the 1970s. He later taught Wing Chun kung fu in London from the 1980s, where he was cast in the Indiana Jones film, before returning to Singapore in 1990.
