Biography
Chuck Hayward is an American television and film writer and producer. After graduating from Syracuse University in 2002, he moved to Los Angeles and worked in various production roles before advancing to writing positions.
He wrote multiple episodes of the Netflix series Dear White People (2017–2019), serving as story editor and executive story editor, and wrote the 2018 Netflix film Step Sisters. Hayward contributed scripts to WandaVision (2021) and Ted Lasso (2020–), including the episode “La Locker Room Aux Folles,” and served as co-executive producer on the latter. His other credits include episodes of mixed-ish and Life & Beth, and the screenplay for the 2024 remake Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead.
Hayward has received three Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on WandaVision and Ted Lasso.
