Biography

Chung Seo-kyung is a South Korean screenwriter, also credited as Jeong Seo-kyeong or Jeong Seo-kyung. She is known for her screenwriting work on films including Lady Vengeance (2005), I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006), Thirst (2009), The Handmaiden (2016) and Decision to Leave (2022).

She debuted as a director and scriptwriter with the 2002 short film Electricians. Chung has also written for television, including the series Little Women (2022) and Mother (2018). She has collaborated extensively with director Park Chan-wook since meeting him in the early 2000s.
