Biography
Cindy Marcus is a writer, often credited alongside her husband and writing partner Flip Kobler. She co-wrote the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Profit and Loss" (1994).
With Kobler, she has written several Disney animated sequels, including Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas (1997), The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998), Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World (1998), Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp's Adventure (2001) and The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (2002). Their live-action credits include the screenplay for Jack and the Beanstalk (2009). They have also written numerous plays and musicals for the stage.
Marcus began her career as a director and actress. She has authored theatre textbooks including The Ultimate Teen Actor's Guide and co-founded the Showdown Stage Company, which runs theatre programmes for young people.
