Biography
Claire Gérard (1889–1971) was a Belgian stage and film actress. She was born on 12 March 1889 in Saint-Gilles, Brussels, and died on 24 March 1971 in Paris.
She appeared regularly in supporting roles in French cinema from the early 1930s to the late 1950s. Her credits include The Rules of the Game (1939) as Madame de la Bruyère, La Bête Humaine (1938), The Crime of Monsieur Lange (1936) and La Belle Équipe (1936).
