Biography
Claire Kiechel is a writer and playwright. She has written for the television series The OA (2019), Watchmen (2019), on which she also served as story editor, and The Acolyte (2024), for which she was supervising producer on several episodes. She has also contributed to Blade Runner 2099 (2026).
Kiechel trained at Amherst College, where she earned a BA, and the New School for Drama, where she earned an MFA in playwriting. Her stage work includes commissions from the Actors Theatre of Louisville, South Coast Repertory and the Alley Theatre, and the play Paul Swan Is Dead and Gone.
