Biography
Clare Griffin is an Australian costume designer whose credits include the original Mad Max (1979). She developed the film's punk-influenced aesthetic on a limited budget, with many costumes made from vinyl rather than leather.
Griffin worked extensively in Australian film and television. Her other costume design credits include Raw Deal (1977), All the Rivers Run (1983), Crackers (1998) and the series The Saddle Club (2001). She also contributed to wardrobe departments on series such as Cash and Company (1975), Tandarra (1976) and The Flying Doctors (1990).
