Biography
Clare-Hope Ashitey is a British actress. She was born on 12 February 1987 in Enfield, London. She trained at the Centre Stage School of Performing Arts, Southgate, while attending The Latymer School in Edmonton for seven years. She took a gap year after school to appear in the film Children of Men (2006) as Kee, before graduating in anthropology from SOAS, University of London in 2009.
Her television credits include the role of Carly in the BBC series Doctor Foster (2015–2017), KJ Harper in the Netflix series Seven Seconds (2018), and appearances in Doctor Who (2020), Criminal: UK (2019) and Constellation (2024). Film roles include Jimi: All Is by My Side (2013) and I.T. (2016).
