Biography
Clare Sandars (1934–2007) was a British child actor. She was born Clare Rosemary Sandars in London on 24 April 1934.
During the Second World War she was evacuated to the United States, where she was cast as Judy Miniver in the 1942 MGM film Mrs. Miniver. She also appeared, uncredited, as a child in Eagle Squadron (1942) and as a little girl in Journey for Margaret (1942), her final screen role.
Sandars married Sir James Napier Finnie McEwen, 4th Baronet, in 1958; the couple had three daughters. She later married investment banker Kenneth Wagg in 1973.
