Biography

Claudio Argento is an Italian film producer and screenwriter. Born on 15 September 1943 in Rome, he is the son of producer Salvatore Argento and the brother of director Dario Argento.

He has produced numerous films directed by his brother, including Deep Red (1975), Suspiria (1977), Inferno (1980) and Tenebre (1982). He served as a producer on George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978) alongside Dario Argento and others. Argento also produced and co-wrote the screenplay for Alejandro Jodorowsky’s Santa Sangre (1989).
